16 Honor thy father and thy mother, as Jehovah thy God commanded thee; that thy days may be long, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.

And thou shalt keep his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days in the land, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, for ever.
Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing in the Lord.
For God said, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is given `to God'; he shall not honor his father. And ye have made void the word of God because of your tradition.
Honor thy father and mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor thy father and mother.
