17 let him that is on the housetop not go down to take out things that are in his house:
What I tell you in the darkness, speak ye in the light; and what ye hear in the ear, proclaim upon the house-tops.
In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back. Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to gain his life shall lose it: but whosoever shall lose `his life' shall preserve it.
And when they were come down from the high place into the city, he communed with Saul upon the housetop.
Give not sleep to thine eyes, Nor slumber to thine eyelids; Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand `of the hunter', And as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
and let him that is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out his house: and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
And not finding by what `way' they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
Now on the morrow, as they were on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour:
