Teach me to do thy will; For thou art my God: Thy Spirit is good; Lead me in the land of uprightness.
Lead me, O Jehovah, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; Make thy way straight before my face.
I will run the way of thy commandments, When thou shalt enlarge my heart.
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool; But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
O Jehovah my God, if I have done this; If there be iniquity in my hands; If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (Yea, I have delivered him that without cause was mine adversary;)
Thou hast proved my heart; thou hast visited me in the night; Thou hast tried me, and findest nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
ALEPH. Blessed are they that are perfect in the way, Who walk in the law of Jehovah.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.
For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.
looking carefully lest `there be' any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble `you', and thereby the many be defiled; lest `there be' any fornication, or profane person, as Esau, who for one mess of meat sold his own birthright.

PSALM 139
Ps 139:1-24. After presenting the sublime doctrines of God's omnipresence and omniscience, the Psalmist appeals to Him, avowing his innocence, his abhorrence of the wicked, and his ready submission to the closest scrutiny. Admonition to the wicked and comfort to the pious are alike implied inferences from these doctrines.
