1 Jehovah, I have called upon thee; make haste unto me: Give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.
But I am poor and needy; Make haste unto me, O God: Thou art my help and my deliverer; O Jehovah, make no tarrying.
Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me: Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.
But be not thou far off, O Jehovah: O thou my succor, haste thee to help me.
And hide not thy face from thy servant; For I am in distress; answer me speedily. Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: Ransom me because of mine enemies.
Hear my prayer, O Jehovah; give ear to my supplications: In thy faithfulness answer me, `and' in thy righteousness.

Commentary on Psalms 141 Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible
PSALM 141
Ps 141:1-10. This Psalm evinces its authorship as the preceding, by its structure and the character of its contents. It is a prayer for deliverance from sins to which affliction tempted him, and from the enemies who caused it.
