10 And Jehovah commanded the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry [land].
And Jehovah prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
And the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not fit that thou shouldest enter under my roof; but only speak a word, and my servant shall be healed. For *I* also am a man under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say to this [one], Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my bondman, Do this, and he does it.
And God made the expanse, and divided between the waters that are under the expanse and the waters that are above the expanse; and it was so.
And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together to one place, and let the dry [land] appear. And it was so.
And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens, to divide between the day and the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years;
For *he* spoke, and it was [done]; *he* commanded, and it stood fast.
He spoke, and the locust came, and the cankerworm, even without number;
Wherefore did I come, and there was no man? I called, and there was none to answer? Is my hand at all shortened that I cannot redeem, or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make rivers a wilderness; their fish stink because there is no water, and die for thirst.
And he says to them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then, having arisen, he rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. But the men were astonished, saying, What sort [of man] is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?
