21 And as they were eating he said, Verily I say to you, that one of you shall deliver me up.
Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you the twelve? and of you one is a devil. Now he spoke of Judas [the son] of Simon, Iscariote, for he [it was who] should deliver him up, being one of the twelve.
For it is not an enemy that hath reproached me -- then could I have borne it; neither is it he that hateth me that hath magnified [himself] against me -- then would I have hidden myself from him; But it was thou, a man mine equal, mine intimate, my familiar friend. ... We who held sweet intercourse together. To the house of God we walked amid the throng.
Then one of the twelve, he who was called Judas Iscariote, went to the chief priests and said, What are ye willing to give me, and *I* will deliver him up to you? And they appointed to him thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought a good opportunity that he might deliver him up.
Moreover, behold, the hand of him that delivers me up [is] with me on the table; and the Son of man indeed goes as it is determined, but woe unto that man by whom he is delivered up. And *they* began to question together among themselves who then it could be of them who was about to do this.
