21 So Gehazi H1522 followed H7291 after H310 Naaman. H5283 And when Naaman H5283 saw H7200 him running H7323 after H310 him, he lighted down H5307 from the chariot H4818 to meet H7125 him, and said, H559 Is all well? H7965
And there stood H5975 a watchman H6822 on the tower H4026 in Jezreel, H3157 and he spied H7200 the company H8229 of Jehu H3058 as he came, H935 and said, H559 I see H7200 a company. H8229 And Joram H3088 said, H559 Take H3947 an horseman, H7395 and send H7971 to meet H7125 them, and let him say, H559 Is it peace? H7965 So there went H3212 one on horseback H7392 H5483 to meet H7125 him, and said, H559 Thus saith H559 the king, H4428 Is it peace? H7965 And Jehu H3058 said, H559 What hast thou to do with peace? H7965 turn H5437 thee behind H310 me. And the watchman H6822 told, H5046 saying, H559 The messenger H4397 came H935 to them, but he cometh not again. H7725 Then he sent out H7971 a second H8145 on horseback, H7392 H5483 which came H935 to them, and said, H559 Thus saith H559 the king, H4428 Is it peace? H7965 And Jehu H3058 answered, H559 What hast thou to do with peace? H7965 turn H5437 thee behind H310 me. And the watchman H6822 told, H5046 saying, H559 He came H935 even unto them, and cometh not again: H7725 and the driving H4491 is like the driving H4491 of Jehu H3058 the son H1121 of Nimshi; H5250 for he driveth H5090 furiously. H7697 And Joram H3088 said, H559 Make ready. H631 And his chariot H7393 was made ready. H631 And Joram H3088 king H4428 of Israel H3478 and Ahaziah H274 king H4428 of Judah H3063 went out, H3318 each H376 in his chariot, H7393 and they went out H3318 against H7125 Jehu, H3058 and met H4672 him in the portion H2513 of Naboth H5022 the Jezreelite. H3158 And it came to pass, when Joram H3088 saw H7200 Jehu, H3058 that he said, H559 Is it peace, H7965 Jehu? H3058 And he answered, H559 What peace, H7965 so long as H5704 the whoredoms H2183 of thy mother H517 Jezebel H348 and her witchcrafts H3785 are so many? H7227
Then G1161 Jesus G2424 went G4198 with G4862 them. G846 And G1161 when he G846 was G568 now G2235 not G3756 far G3112 from G575 the house, G3614 the centurion G1543 sent G3992 friends G5384 to G4314 him, G846 saying G3004 unto him, G846 Lord, G2962 trouble G4660 not G3361 thyself: G4660 for G1063 I am G1510 not G3756 worthy G2425 that G2443 thou shouldest enter G1525 under G5259 my G3450 roof: G4721 Wherefore G1352 neither G3761 thought I G515 myself G1683 worthy G515 to come G2064 unto G4314 thee: G4571 but G235 say G2036 in a word, G3056 and G2532 my G3450 servant G3816 shall be healed. G2390
And G1161 as G5613 Peter G4074 was G1096 coming in, G1525 Cornelius G2883 met G4876 him, G846 and fell down G4098 at G1909 his feet, G4228 and worshipped G4352 him. But G1161 Peter G4074 took G1453 him G846 up, G1453 saying, G3004 Stand up; G450 I G2504 myself G846 also G2504 am G1510 a man. G444

Commentary on 2 Kings 5 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 5
Two more of Elisha's miracles are recorded in this chapter.
2Ki 5:1-8
Our saviour's miracles were intended for the lost sheep of the house of Israel, yet one, like a crumb, fell from the table to a woman of Canaan; so this one miracle Elisha wrought for Naaman, a Syrian; for God does good to all, and will have all men to be saved. Here is,
2Ki 5:9-14
We have here the cure of Naaman's leprosy.
2Ki 5:15-19
Of the ten lepers that our Saviour cleansed, the only one that returned to give thanks was a Samaritan, Lu. 17:16. This Syrian did so, and here expresses himself.
2Ki 5:20-27
Naaman, a Syrian, a courtier, a soldier, had many servants, and we read how wise and good they were, v. 13. Elisha, a holy prophet, a man of God, has but one servant, and he proves a base, lying, naughty fellow. Those that heard of Elisha at a distance honoured him, and got good by what they heard; but he that stood continually before him, to hear his wisdom, had no good impressions made upon him either by his doctrine or miracles. One would have expected that Elisha's servant should be a saint (even Ahab's servant, Obadiah, was), but even Christ himself had a Judas among his followers. The means of grace cannot give grace. The best men, the best ministers have often had those about them that have been their grief and shame. The nearer the church the further from God. Many come from the east and west to sit down with Abraham when the children of the kingdom shall be cast out. Here is,
