19 And the king H4428 communed H1696 with them; and among them all was found H4672 none like Daniel, H1840 Hananiah, H2608 Mishael, H4332 and Azariah: H5838 therefore stood H5975 they before H6440 the king. H4428
And Joseph H3130 was thirty H7970 years H8141 old H1121 when he stood H5975 before H6440 Pharaoh H6547 king H4428 of Egypt. H4714 And Joseph H3130 went out H3318 from the presence H6440 of Pharaoh, H6547 and went throughout H5674 all the land H776 of Egypt. H4714
Seest H2372 thou a man H376 diligent H4106 in his business? H4399 he shall stand H3320 before H6440 kings; H4428 he shall not stand H3320 before H6440 mean H2823 men.

Commentary on Daniel 1 Matthew Henry Commentary
An Exposition, With Practical Observations, of
The Book of the Prophet Daniel
Chapter 1
This chapter gives us a more particular account of the beginning of Daniel's life, his original and education, than we have of any other of the prophets. Dan 1:1-7
We have in these verses an account,
Dan 1:8-16
We observe here, very much to our satisfaction,
Dan 1:17-21
Concerning Daniel and his fellows we have here,
