11 And G2532 G3303 every G3956 priest G2409 standeth G2476 daily G2596 G2250 ministering G3008 and G2532 offering G4374 oftentimes G4178 the same G846 sacrifices, G2378 which G3748 can G1410 never G3763 take away G4014 sins: G266
For G1063 it is not possible G102 that the blood G129 of bulls G5022 and G2532 of goats G5131 should take away G851 sins. G266
For G1063 every G3956 high priest G749 taken G2983 from among G1537 men G444 is ordained G2525 for G5228 men G444 in things pertaining to G4314 God, G2316 that G2443 he may offer G4374 both G5037 gifts G1435 and G2532 sacrifices G2378 for G5228 sins: G266
And he shall confirm H1396 the covenant H1285 with many H7227 for one H259 week: H7620 and in the midst H2677 of the week H7620 he shall cause the sacrifice H2077 and the oblation H4503 to cease, H7673 and for the overspreading H3671 of abominations H8251 he shall make it desolate, H8074 even until the consummation, H3617 and that determined H2782 shall be poured H5413 upon the desolate. H8074
For G1063 the law G3551 having G2192 a shadow G4639 of good things G18 to come, G3195 and not G3756 the very G846 image G1504 of the things, G4229 can G1410 never G3763 with those G846 sacrifices G2378 which G3739 they offered G4374 year by year G2596 G1763 continually G1519 G1336 make G5048 the comers thereunto G4334 perfect. G5048
Who G3739 needeth G2192 G318 not G3756 daily, G2596 G2250 as G5618 those high priests, G749 to offer up G399 sacrifice, G2378 first G4386 for G5228 his own G2398 sins, G266 and then G1899 for the people's: G2992 for G1063 this G5124 he did G4160 once, G2178 when he offered up G399 himself. G1438
According G2596 to the custom G1485 of the priest's office, G2405 his lot G2975 was to burn incense G2370 when he went G1525 into G1519 the temple G3485 of the Lord. G2962 And G2532 the whole G3956 multitude G4128 of the people G2992 were G2258 praying G4336 without G1854 at the time G5610 of incense. G2368
Now this is that which thou shalt offer H6213 upon the altar; H4196 two H8147 lambs H3532 of the first H1121 year H8141 day H3117 by day H3117 continually. H8548 The one H259 lamb H3532 thou shalt offer H6213 in the morning; H1242 and the other H8145 lamb H3532 thou shalt offer H6213 at even: H6153
The holy H6944 portion of the land H776 shall be for the priests H3548 the ministers H8334 of the sanctuary, H4720 which shall come near H7131 to minister H8334 unto the LORD: H3068 and it shall be a place H4725 for their houses, H1004 and an holy place H4720 for the sanctuary. H4720
To what H4100 purpose is the multitude H7230 of your sacrifices H2077 unto me? saith H559 the LORD: H3068 I am full H7646 of the burnt offerings H5930 of rams, H352 and the fat H2459 of fed beasts; H4806 and I delight H2654 not in the blood H1818 of bullocks, H6499 or of lambs, H3532 or of he goats. H6260
I will not reprove H3198 thee for thy sacrifices H2077 or thy burnt offerings, H5930 to have been continually H8548 before me. I will take H3947 no bullock H6499 out of thy house, H1004 nor he goats H6260 out of thy folds. H4356 For every beast H2416 of the forest H3293 is mine, and the cattle H929 upon a thousand H505 hills. H2042 I know H3045 all the fowls H5775 of the mountains: H2022 and the wild beasts H2123 of the field H7704 are mine. H5978 If I were hungry, H7456 I would not tell H559 thee: for the world H8398 is mine, and the fulness H4393 thereof. Will I eat H398 the flesh H1320 of bulls, H47 or drink H8354 the blood H1818 of goats? H6260
Beside the burnt offering H5930 of the month, H2320 and his meat offering, H4503 and the daily H8548 burnt offering, H5930 and his meat offering, H4503 and their drink offerings, H5262 according unto their manner, H4941 for a sweet H5207 savour, H7381 a sacrifice made by fire H801 unto the LORD. H3068
After this manner ye shall offer H6213 daily, H3117 throughout the seven H7651 days, H3117 the meat H3899 of the sacrifice made by fire, H801 of a sweet H5207 savour H7381 unto the LORD: H3068 it shall be offered H6213 beside the continual H8548 burnt offering, H5930 and his drink offering. H5262

Commentary on Hebrews 10 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 10
The apostle knew very well that the Hebrews, to whom he wrote, were strangely fond of the Levitical dispensation, and therefore he fills his mouth with arguments to wean them from it; and in order thereto proceeds in this chapter,
Hbr 10:1-6
Here the apostle, by the direction of the Spirit of God, sets himself to lay low the Levitical dispensation; for though it was of divine appointment, and very excellent and useful in its time and place, yet, when it was set up in competition with Christ, to whom it was only designed to lead the people, it was very proper and necessary to show the weakness and imperfection of it, which the apostle does effectually, from several arguments. As,
Hbr 10:7-18
Here the apostle raises up and exalts the Lord Jesus Christ, as high as he had laid the Levitical priesthood low. He recommends Christ to them as the true high priest, the true atoning sacrifice, the antitype of all the rest: and this he illustrates,
And now we have gone through the doctrinal part of the epistle, in which we have met with many things dark and difficult to be understood, which we must impute to the weakness and dulness of our own minds. The apostle now proceeds to apply this great doctrine, so as to influence their affections, and direct their practice, setting before them the dignities and duties of the gospel state.
