21 And I will deliver H5337 thee out of the hand H3027 of the wicked, H7451 and I will redeem H6299 thee out of the hand H3709 of the terrible. H6184
The Angel H4397 which redeemed H1350 me from all evil, H7451 bless H1288 the lads; H5288 and let my name H8034 be named H7121 on them, and the name H8034 of my fathers H1 Abraham H85 and Isaac; H3327 and let them grow H1711 into a multitude H7230 in the midst H7130 of the earth. H776
When the wicked, H7489 even mine enemies H6862 and my foes, H341 came H7126 upon me to eat up H398 my flesh, H1320 they stumbled H3782 and fell. H5307
Therefore shall the strong H5794 people H5971 glorify H3513 thee, the city H7151 of the terrible H6184 nations H1471 shall fear H3372 thee. For thou hast been a strength H4581 to the poor, H1800 a strength H4581 to the needy H34 in his distress, H6862 a refuge H4268 from the storm, H2230 a shadow H6738 from the heat, H2721 when the blast H7307 of the terrible ones H6184 is as a storm H2230 against the wall. H7023 Thou shalt bring down H3665 the noise H7588 of strangers, H2114 as the heat H2721 in a dry place; H6724 even the heat H2721 with the shadow H6738 of a cloud: H5645 the branch H2159 of the terrible ones H6184 shall be brought low. H6030
Shall the prey H4455 be taken H3947 from the mighty, H1368 or the lawful H6662 captive H7628 delivered? H4422 But thus saith H559 the LORD, H3068 Even the captives H7628 of the mighty H1368 shall be taken away, H3947 and the prey H4455 of the terrible H6184 shall be delivered: H4422 for I will contend H7378 with him that contendeth H3401 with thee, and I will save H3467 thy children. H1121
No weapon H3627 that is formed H3335 against thee shall prosper; H6743 and every tongue H3956 that shall rise H6965 against thee in judgment H4941 thou shalt condemn. H7561 This is the heritage H5159 of the servants H5650 of the LORD, H3068 and their righteousness H6666 is of me, saith H5002 the LORD. H3068
And G2532 lead G1533 us G2248 not G3361 into G1519 temptation, G3986 but G235 deliver G4506 us G2248 from G575 evil: G4190 For G3754 thine G4675 is G2076 the kingdom, G932 and G2532 the power, G1411 and G2532 the glory, G1391 for G1519 ever. G165 Amen. G281

Commentary on Jeremiah 15 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 15
When we left the prophet, in the close of the foregoing chapter, so pathetically poring out his prayers before God, we had reason to hope that in this chapter we should find God reconciled to the land and the prophet brought into a quiet composed frame; but, to our great surprise, we find it much otherwise as to both.
Jer 15:1-9
We scarcely find any where more pathetic expressions of divine wrath against a provoking people than we have here in these verses. The prophet had prayed earnestly for them, and found some among them to join with him; and yet not so much as a reprieve was gained, nor the least mitigation of the judgment; but this answer is given to the prophet's prayers, that the decree had gone forth, was irreversible, and would shortly be executed. Observe here,
Jer 15:10-14
Jeremiah has now returned from his public work and retired into his closet; what passed between him and his God there we have an account of in these and the following verses, which he published afterwards, to affect the people with the weight and importance of his messages to them. Here is,
Jer 15:15-21
Here, as before, we have,
