27 And G2532 after G3326 the sop G5596 G5119 Satan G4567 entered G1525 into G1519 him. G1565 Then G3767 said G3004 Jesus G2424 unto him, G846 That G3739 thou doest, G4160 do G4160 quickly. G5032
Then G1161 entered G1525 Satan G4567 into G1519 Judas G2455 surnamed G1941 Iscariot, G2469 being G5607 of G1537 the number G706 of the twelve. G1427
And G2532 supper G1173 being ended, G1096 the devil G1228 having now G2235 put G906 into G1519 the heart G2588 of Judas G2455 Iscariot, G2469 Simon's G4613 son, to G2443 betray G3860 him; G846
And it came to pass at noon, H6672 that Elijah H452 mocked H2048 them, and said, H559 Cry H7121 aloud: H1419 H6963 for he is a god; H430 either he is talking, H7879 or he is pursuing, H7873 or he is in a journey, H1870 or peradventure H194 he sleepeth, H3463 and must be awaked. H3364
Set H6485 thou a wicked man H7563 over him: and let Satan H7854 stand H5975 at his right hand. H3225
For their feet H7272 run H7323 to evil, H7451 and make haste H4116 to shed H8210 blood. H1818
This is an evil H7451 among all things that are done H6213 under the sun, H8121 that there is one H259 event H4745 unto all: yea, also the heart H3820 of the sons H1121 of men H120 is full H4390 of evil, H7451 and madness H1947 is in their heart H3824 while they live, H2416 and after H310 that they go to the dead. H4191
A wild ass H6501 used H3928 to the wilderness, H4057 that snuffeth up H7602 the wind H7307 at her pleasure; H185 H5315 in her occasion H8385 who can turn her away? H7725 all they that seek H1245 her will not weary H3286 themselves; in her month H2320 they shall find H4672 her. Withhold H4513 thy foot H7272 from being unshod, H3182 and thy throat H1627 from thirst: H6773 but thou saidst, H559 There is no hope: H2976 no; for I have loved H157 strangers, H2114 and after H310 them will I go. H3212
He answered H6032 and said H560 to Arioch H746 the king's H4430 captain, H7990 Why H4101 H5922 is the decree H1882 so hasty H2685 from H4481 H6925 the king? H4430 Then H116 Arioch H746 made the thing H4406 known H3046 to Daniel. H1841
Then G5119 goeth he, G4198 and G2532 taketh G3880 with G3326 himself G1438 seven G2033 other G2087 spirits G4151 more wicked G4191 than himself, G1438 and G2532 they enter in G1525 and dwell G2730 there: G1563 and G2532 the last G2078 state of that G1565 man G444 is G1096 worse than G5501 the first. G4413 Even so G3779 shall it be G2071 also G2532 unto this G5026 wicked G4190 generation. G1074
And G2532 she came in G1525 straightway G2112 with G3326 haste G4710 unto G4314 the king, G935 and asked, G154 saying, G3004 I will G2309 that G2443 thou give G1325 me G3427 by and by G1824 in G1909 a charger G4094 the head G2776 of John G2491 the Baptist. G910
And G1161 there was G2258 there G1563 an herd G34 of many G2425 swine G5519 feeding G1006 on G1722 the mountain: G3735 and G2532 they besought G3870 him G846 that G2443 he would suffer G2010 them G846 to enter G1525 into G1519 them. G1565 And G2532 he suffered G2010 them. G846 Then G1161 went G1831 the devils G1140 out of G575 the man, G444 and entered G1525 into G1519 the swine: G5519 and G2532 the herd G34 ran G3729 violently down G2596 a steep G2911 place into G1519 the lake, G3041 and G2532 were choked. G638
Let G3004 no man G3367 say G3004 when he is tempted, G3985 G3754 I am tempted G3985 of G575 God: G2316 for G1063 God G2316 cannot be tempted G551 G2076 with evil, G2556 neither G1161 tempteth G3985 he G846 G3985 any man: G3762 But G1161 every man G1538 is tempted, G3985 when he is drawn away G1828 of G5259 his own G2398 lust, G1939 and G2532 enticed. G1185 Then G1534 when lust G1939 hath conceived, G4815 it bringeth forth G5088 sin: G266 and G1161 sin, G266 when it is finished, G658 bringeth forth G616 death. G2288

Commentary on John 13 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 13
Our Saviour having finished his public discourses, in which he "endured the contradiction of sinners,' now applies himself to a private conversation with his friends, in which he designed the consolation of saints. Henceforward we have an account of what passed between him and his disciples, who were to be entrusted with the affairs of his household, when he was gone into a far country; the necessary instructions and comforts he furnished them with. His hour being at hand, he applies himself to set his house in order. In this chapter
Jhn 13:1-17
It has generally been taken for granted by commentators that Christ's washing his disciples' feet, and the discourse that followed it, were the same night in which he was betrayed, and at the same sitting wherein he ate the passover and instituted the Lord's supper; but whether before the solemnity began, or after it was all over, or between the eating of the passover and the institution of the Lord's supper, they are not agreed. This evangelist, making it his business to gather up those passages which the others had omitted, industriously omits those which the others had recorded, which occasions some difficulty in putting them together. If it was then, we suppose that Judas went out (v. 30) to get his men ready that were to apprehend the Lord Jesus in the garden. But Dr. Lightfoot is clearly of opinion that this was done and said, even all that is recorded to the end of ch. 14, not at the passover supper, for it is here said (v. 1) to be before the feast of the passover, but at the supper in Bethany, two days before the passover (of which we read Mt. 26:2-6), at which Mary the second time anointed Christ's head with the remainder of her box of ointment. Or, it might be at some other supper the night before the passover, not as that was in the house of Simon the leper, but in his own lodgings, where he had none but his disciples about him, and could be more free with them.
In these verses we have the story of Christ's washing his disciples' feet; it was an action of a singular nature; no miracle, unless we call it a miracle of humility. Mary had just anointed his head; now, lest his acceptance of this should look like taking state, he presently balances it with this act of abasement. But why would Christ do this? If the disciples' feet needed washing, they could wash them themselves; a wise man will not do a thing that looks odd and unusual, but for very good causes and considerations. We are sure that it was not in a humour or a frolic that this was done; no, the transaction was very solemn, and carried on with a great deal of seriousness; and four reasons are here intimated why Christ did this:-
Jhn 13:18-30
We have here the discovery of Judas's plot to betray his Master. Christ knew it from the beginning; but now first he discovered it to his disciples, who did not expect Christ should be betrayed, though he had often told them so, much less did they suspect that one of them should do it. Now here,
Jhn 13:31-35
This and what follows, to the end of ch. 14, was Christ's table-talk with his disciples. When supper was done, Judas went out; but what did the Master and his disciples do, whom he left sitting at table? They applied themselves to profitable discourse, to teach us as much as we can to make conversation with our friends at table serviceable to religion. Christ begins this discourse. The more forward we are humbly to promote that communication which is good, and to the use of edifying, the more like we are to Jesus Christ. Those especially that by their place, reputation, and gifts, command the company, to whom men give ear, ought to use the interest they have in other respects as an opportunity of doing them good. Now our Lord Jesus discourses with them (and probably discourses much more largely than is here recorded),

In these verses we have,
