42 And G2532 they said, G3004 Is G2076 not G3756 this G3778 Jesus, G2424 the son G5207 of Joseph, G2501 whose G3739 father G3962 and G2532 mother G3384 we G2249 know? G1492 how is it G4459 then G3767 that he G3778 saith, G3004 G3754 I came down G2597 from G1537 heaven? G3772
Is G2076 not G3756 this G3778 the carpenter's G5045 son? G5207 is G3004 not G3780 his G846 mother G3384 called G3004 Mary? G3137 and G2532 his G846 brethren, G80 James, G2385 and G2532 Joses, G2500 and G2532 Simon, G4613 and G2532 Judas? G2455 And G2532 his G846 sisters, G79 are they G1526 not G3780 all G3956 with G4314 us? G2248 Whence G4159 then G3767 hath this man G5129 all G3956 these things? G5023
Howbeit G235 we know G1492 this man G5126 whence G4159 he is: G2076 but G1161 when G3752 Christ G5547 cometh, G2064 no man G3762 knoweth G1097 whence G4159 he is. G2076 Then G3767 cried G2896 Jesus G2424 in G1722 the temple G2411 as he taught, G1321 G2532 saying, G3004 Ye both G2504 know me, G1492 and G2532 ye know G1492 whence G4159 I am: G1510 and G2532 I am G2064 not G3756 come G2064 of G575 myself, G1683 but G235 he that sent G3992 me G3165 is G2076 true, G228 whom G3739 ye G5210 know G1492 not. G3756
Concerning G4012 his G846 Son G5207 Jesus G2424 Christ G5547 our G2257 Lord, G2962 which G3588 was made G1096 of G1537 the seed G4690 of David G1138 according G2596 to the flesh; G4561 And declared G3724 to be the Son G5207 of God G2316 with G1722 power, G1411 according G2596 to the spirit G4151 of holiness, G42 by G1537 the resurrection G386 from the dead: G3498

Chapter 6
In this chapter we have,
Jhn 6:1-14
We have here an account of Christ's feeding five thousand men with five loaves and two fishes, which miracle is in this respect remarkable, that it is the only passage of the actions of Christ's life that is recorded by all the four evangelists. John, who does not usually relate what had been recorded by those who wrote before him, yet relates this, because of the reference the following discourse has to it. Observe,
Jhn 6:15-21
Here is,
Jhn 6:22-27
In these verses we have,
Jhn 6:28-59

Those that would be apt to teach must be swift to hear, and study to answer. It is the wisdom of teachers, when they are asked even impertinent unprofitable questions, thence to take occasion to answer in that which is profitable, that the question may be rejected, but not the request. Now,
Jhn 6:60-71
We have here an account of the effects of Christ's discourse. Some were offended and others edified by it; some driven from him and others brought nearer to him.
