2 When a man H120 shall have in the skin H5785 of his flesh H1320 a rising, H7613 a scab, H5597 or bright spot, H934 and it be in the skin H5785 of his flesh H1320 like the plague H5061 of leprosy; H6883 then he shall be brought H935 unto Aaron H175 the priest, H3548 or unto one H259 of his sons H1121 the priests: H3548
Take heed H8104 in the plague H5061 of leprosy, H6883 that thou observe H8104 diligently, H3966 and do H6213 according to all that the priests H3548 the Levites H3881 shall teach H3384 you: as I commanded H6680 them, so ye shall observe H8104 to do. H6213
And for a rising, H7613 and for a scab, H5597 and for a bright spot: H934
From the sole H3709 of the foot H7272 even unto the head H7218 there is no soundness H4974 in it; but wounds, H6482 and bruises, H2250 and putrifying H2961 sores: H4347 they have not been closed, H2115 neither bound up, H2280 neither mollified H7401 with ointment. H8081
And G2532 when he saw G1492 them, he said G2036 unto them, G846 Go G4198 shew G1925 yourselves G1438 unto the priests. G2409 And G2532 it came to pass, G1096 that, as they G846 went, G5217 G1722 they were cleansed. G2511
And G2532 he G846 charged G3853 him G846 to tell G2036 no man: G3367 but G235 go, G565 and shew G1166 thyself G4572 to the priest, G2409 and G2532 offer G4374 for G4012 thy G4675 cleansing, G2512 according as G2531 Moses G3475 commanded, G4367 for G1519 a testimony G3142 unto them. G846
And G2532 saith G3004 unto him, G846 See G3708 thou say G2036 nothing G3367 to any man: G3367 but G235 go thy way, G5217 shew G1166 thyself G4572 to the priest, G2409 and G2532 offer G4374 for G4012 thy G4675 cleansing G2512 those things G3739 which Moses G3475 commanded, G4367 for G1519 a testimony G3142 unto them. G846
And G2532 Jesus G2424 saith G3004 unto him, G846 See G3708 thou tell G2036 no man; G3367 but G235 go thy way, G5217 shew G1166 thyself G4572 to the priest, G2409 and G2532 offer G4374 the gift G1435 that G3739 Moses G3475 commanded, G4367 for G1519 a testimony G3142 unto them. G846
Therefore the Lord H136 will smite with a scab H5596 the crown of the head H6936 of the daughters H1323 of Zion, H6726 and the LORD H3068 will discover H6168 their secret parts. H6596
And the LORD H3068 said H559 furthermore H5750 unto him, Put H935 now thine hand H3027 into thy bosom. H2436 And he put H935 his hand H3027 into his bosom: H2436 and when he took H3318 it out, behold, his hand H3027 was leprous H6879 as snow. H7950 And he said, H559 Put H7725 thine hand H3027 into thy bosom H2436 again. H7725 And he put H7725 his hand H3027 into his bosom H2436 again; H7725 and plucked H3318 it out of his bosom, H2436 and, behold, it was turned again H7725 as his other flesh. H1320
Then Uzziah H5818 was wroth, H2196 and had a censer H4730 in his hand H3027 to burn incense: H6999 and while he was wroth H2196 with the priests, H3548 the leprosy H6883 even rose up H2224 in his forehead H4696 before H6440 the priests H3548 in the house H1004 of the LORD, H3068 from beside the incense H7004 altar. H4196 And Azariah H5838 the chief H7218 priest, H3548 and all the priests, H3548 looked H6437 upon him, and, behold, he was leprous H6879 in his forehead, H4696 and they thrust him out H926 from thence; yea, himself hasted H1765 also to go out, H3318 because the LORD H3068 had smitten H5060 him. And Uzziah H5818 the king H4428 was a leper H6879 unto the day H3117 of his death, H4194 and dwelt in H3427 a several H2669 H2669 house, H1004 being a leper; H6879 for he was cut off H1504 from the house H1004 of the LORD: H3068 and Jotham H3147 his son H1121 was over the king's H4428 house, H1004 judging H8199 the people H5971 of the land. H776
The leprosy H6883 therefore of Naaman H5283 shall cleave H1692 unto thee, and unto thy seed H2233 for ever. H5769 And he went out H3318 from his presence H6440 a leper H6879 as white as snow. H7950
Now Naaman, H5283 captain H8269 of the host H6635 of the king H4428 of Syria, H758 was a great H1419 man H376 with H6440 his master, H113 and honourable, H5375 because by him the LORD H3068 had given H5414 deliverance H8668 unto Syria: H758 he was also a mighty H1368 man H376 in valour, H2428 but he was a leper. H6879
Let it rest H2342 on the head H7218 of Joab, H3097 and on all his father's H1 house; H1004 and let there not fail H3772 from the house H1004 of Joab H3097 one that hath an issue, H2100 or that is a leper, H6879 or that leaneth H2388 on a staff, H6418 or that falleth H5307 on the sword, H2719 or that lacketh H2638 bread. H3899
The LORD H3068 will smite H5221 thee with the botch H7822 of Egypt, H4714 and with the emerods, H2914 H6076 and with the scab, H1618 and with the itch, H2775 whereof thou canst H3201 not be healed. H7495
If there arise a matter H1697 too hard H6381 for thee in judgment, H4941 between blood H1818 and blood, H1818 between plea H1779 and plea, H1779 and between stroke H5061 and stroke, H5061 being matters H1697 of controversy H7379 within thy gates: H8179 then shalt thou arise, H6965 and get thee up H5927 into the place H4725 which the LORD H3068 thy God H430 shall choose; H977 And thou shalt come H935 unto the priests H3548 the Levites, H3881 and unto the judge H8199 that shall be in those days, H3117 and enquire; H1875 and they shall shew H5046 thee the sentence H1697 of judgment: H4941

Commentary on Leviticus 13 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 13
The next ceremonial uncleanness is that of the leprosy, concerning which the law was very large and particular; we have the discovery of it in this chapter, and the cleansing of the leper in the next. Scarcely any one thing in all the levitical law takes up so much room as this.
Lev 13:1-17
Lev 13:18-37
The priest is here instructed what judgment to make if there was any appearance of a leprosy, either,
Lev 13:38-46
We have here,
Lev 13:47-59
This is the law concerning the plague of leprosy in a garment, whether linen or woollen. A leprosy in a garment, with discernible indications of it, the colour changed by it, the garment fretted, the nap worn off, and this in some one particular part of the garment, and increasing when it was shut up, and not to be got out by washing is a thing which to us now is altogether unaccountable. The learned confess that it was a sign and a miracle in Israel, an extraordinary punishment inflicted by the divine power, as a token of great displeasure against a person or family.
