33 Saying, G3754 Behold, G2400 we go up G305 to G1519 Jerusalem; G2414 and G2532 the Son G5207 of man G444 shall be delivered G3860 unto the chief priests, G749 and G2532 unto the scribes; G1122 and G2532 they shall condemn G2632 him G846 to death, G2288 and G2532 shall deliver G3860 him G846 to the Gentiles: G1484
The God G2316 of Abraham, G11 and G2532 of Isaac, G2464 and G2532 of Jacob, G2384 the God G2316 of our G2257 fathers, G3962 hath glorified G1392 his G846 Son G3816 Jesus; G2424 whom G3739 ye G5210 delivered up, G3860 and G2532 denied G720 him G846 in G2596 the presence G4383 of Pilate, G4091 when he was determined G2919 to let G630 him G1565 go. G630 But G1161 ye G5210 denied G720 the Holy One G40 and G2532 the Just, G1342 and G2532 desired G154 a murderer G5406 G435 to be granted G5483 unto you; G5213
And G1161 while they G846 abode G390 in G1722 Galilee, G1056 Jesus G2424 said G2036 unto them, G846 The Son G5207 of man G444 shall be G3195 betrayed G3860 into G1519 the hands G5495 of men: G444 And G2532 they shall kill G615 him, G846 and G2532 the third G5154 day G2250 he shall be raised again. G1453 And G2532 they were exceeding G4970 sorry. G3076
He is G2076 not G3756 here, G5602 but G235 is risen: G1453 remember G3415 how G5613 he spake G2980 unto you G5213 when he was G5607 yet G2089 in G1722 Galilee, G1056 Saying, G3004 G3754 The Son G5207 of man G444 must G1163 be delivered G3860 into G1519 the hands G5495 of sinful G268 men, G444 and G2532 be crucified, G4717 and G2532 the third G5154 day G2250 rise again. G450
And G2532 the whole G537 multitude G4128 of them G846 arose, G450 and led G71 him G846 unto G1909 Pilate. G4091 And G1161 they began G756 to accuse G2723 him, G846 saying, G3004 We found G2147 this G5126 fellow perverting G1294 the nation, G1484 and G2532 forbidding G2967 to give G1325 tribute G5411 to Caesar, G2541 saying G3004 that he himself G1438 is G1511 Christ G5547 a King. G935
Then G1161 he took G3880 unto him the twelve, G1427 and said G2036 unto G4314 them, G846 Behold, G2400 we go up G305 to G1519 Jerusalem, G2414 and G2532 all things G3956 that are written G1125 by G1223 the prophets G4396 concerning the Son G5207 of man G444 shall be accomplished. G5055 For G1063 he shall be delivered G3860 unto the Gentiles, G1484 and G2532 shall be mocked, G1702 and G2532 spitefully entreated, G5195 and G2532 spitted on: G1716 And G2532 they shall scourge G3146 him, and put G615 him G846 to death: G615 and G2532 the third G5154 day G2250 he shall rise again. G450
And G2532 Jesus G2424 going up G305 to G1519 Jerusalem G2414 took G3880 the twelve G1427 disciples G3101 apart G2596 G2398 in G1722 the way, G3598 and G2532 said G2036 unto them, G846 Behold, G2400 we go up G305 to G1519 Jerusalem; G2414 and G2532 the Son G5207 of man G444 shall be betrayed G3860 unto the chief priests G749 and G2532 unto the scribes, G1122 and G2532 they shall condemn G2632 him G846 to death, G2288 And G2532 shall deliver G3860 him G846 to the Gentiles G1484 to G1519 mock, G1702 and G2532 to scourge, G3146 and G2532 to crucify G4717 him: and G2532 the third G5154 day G2250 he shall rise again. Commentary on Mark 10 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 10
In this chapter, we have,
Mar 10:1-12
Our Lord Jesus was an itinerant Preacher, did not continue long in a place, for the whole land of Canaan was his parish, or diocese, and therefore he would visit every part of it, and give instructions to those in the remotest corners of it. Here we have him in the coasts of Judea, by the further side of Jordan eastward, as we found him, not long since, in the utmost borders westward, near Tyre and Sidon. Thus was his circuit like that of the sun, from whose light and heat nothing is hid. Now here we have him,
Here is,
Moses tells us,
Mar 10:13-16
It is looked upon as the indication of a kind and tender disposition to take notice of little children, and this was remarkable in our Lord Jesus, which is an encouragement not only to little children to apply themselves to Christ when they are very young, but to grown people, who are conscious to themselves of weakness and childishness, and of being, through manifold infirmities, helpless and useless, like little children. Here we have,

Note,
Mar 10:46-52
This passage of story agrees with that, Mt. 20:29, etc. Only that there were told of two blind men; here, and Lu. 18:35, only of one: but if there were two, there was one. This one is named here, being a blind beggar that was much talked of; he was called Bartimeus, that is, the son of Timeus; which, some think, signifies the son of a blind man; he was the blind son of a blind father, which made the case worse, and the cure more wonderful, and the more proper to typify the spiritual cures wrought by the grace of Christ, on those that not only are born blind, but are born of those that are blind.
