7 Therefore I will look H6822 unto the LORD; H3068 I will wait H3176 for the God H430 of my salvation: H3468 my God H430 will hear H8085 me.
I looked H5027 on my right hand, H3225 and beheld, H7200 but there was no man that would know H5234 me: refuge H4498 failed H6 me; no man cared H1875 for my soul. H5315 I cried H2199 unto thee, O LORD: H3068 I said, H559 Thou art my refuge H4268 and my portion H2506 in the land H776 of the living. H2416
And G2532 this G3778 is G2076 the confidence G3954 that G3739 we have G2192 in G4314 him, G846 that, G3754 if G1437 we ask G154 any thing G5100 according G2596 to his G846 will, G2307 he heareth G191 us: G2257 And G2532 if G1437 we know G1492 that G3754 he hear G191 us, G2257 whatsoever G3739 G302 we ask, G154 we know G1492 that G3754 we have G2192 the petitions G155 that G3739 we desired G154 of G3844 him. G846
And G1161 they G846 were filled G4130 with madness; G454 and G2532 communed G1255 one with another G4314 G240 what G5101 G302 they might do G4160 to Jesus. G2424 And G1161 it came to pass G1096 in G1722 those G5025 days, G2250 that he went out G1831 into G1519 a mountain G3735 to pray, G4336 and G2532 continued all night G1273 G2258 in G1722 prayer G4335 to God. G2316
And, G2532 behold, G2400 there was G2258 a man G444 in G1722 Jerusalem, G2419 whose G3739 name G3686 was Simeon; G4826 and G2532 the same G3778 man G444 was just G1342 and G2532 devout, G2126 waiting G4327 for the consolation G3874 of Israel: G2474 and G2532 the Holy G40 Ghost G4151 was G2258 upon G1909 him. G846 And G2532 it was G2258 revealed G5537 unto him G846 by G5259 the Holy G40 Ghost, G4151 that he should G1492 not G3361 see G1492 death, G2288 before G4250 G2228 he had seen G1492 the Lord's G2962 Christ. G5547 And G2532 he came G2064 by G1722 the Spirit G4151 into G1519 the temple: G2411 and G2532 when the parents G1118 brought G1521 in G1722 the child G3813 Jesus, G2424 to do G4160 G846 for G4012 him G846 after G2596 the custom G1480 of the law, G3551 Then G2532 took G1209 he G846 him G846 up G1209 in G1519 his G846 arms, G43 and G2532 blessed G2127 God, G2316 and G2532 said, G2036 Lord, G1203 now G3568 lettest thou G630 thy G4675 servant G1401 depart G630 in G1722 peace, G1515 according G2596 to thy G4675 word: G4487 For G3754 mine G3450 eyes G3788 have seen G1492 thy G4675 salvation, G4992 Which G3739 thou hast prepared G2090 before G2596 the face G4383 of all G3956 people; G2992 A light G5457 to G1519 lighten G602 the Gentiles, G1484 and G2532 the glory G1391 of thy G4675 people G2992 Israel. G2474
Although the fig tree H8384 shall not blossom, H6524 neither shall fruit H2981 be in the vines; H1612 the labour H4639 of the olive H2132 shall fail, H3584 and the fields H7709 shall yield H6213 no meat; H400 the flock H6629 shall be cut off H1504 from the fold, H4356 and there shall be no herd H1241 in the stalls: H7517 Yet I will rejoice H5937 in the LORD, H3068 I will joy H1523 in the God H430 of my salvation. H3468 The LORD H3069 God H136 is my strength, H2428 and he will make H7760 my feet H7272 like hinds' H355 feet, and he will make me to walk H1869 upon mine high places. H1116 To the chief singer H5329 on my stringed instruments. H5058
[[To the chief Musician, H5329 to Jeduthun, H3038 A Psalm H4210 of David.]] H1732 Truly my soul H5315 waiteth H1747 upon God: H430 from him cometh my salvation. H3444 He only is my rock H6697 and my salvation; H3444 he is my defence; H4869 I shall not be greatly H7227 moved. H4131 How long will ye imagine mischief H2050 against a man? H376 ye shall be slain H7523 all of you: as a bowing H5186 wall H7023 shall ye be, and as a tottering H1760 fence. H1447 They only consult H3289 to cast him down H5080 from his excellency: H7613 they delight H7521 in lies: H3577 they bless H1288 with their mouth, H6310 but they curse H7043 inwardly. H7130 Selah. H5542 My soul, H5315 wait H1826 thou only upon God; H430 for my expectation H8615 is from him. He only is my rock H6697 and my salvation: H3444 he is my defence; H4869 I shall not be moved. H4131 In God H430 is my salvation H3468 and my glory: H3519 the rock H6697 of my strength, H5797 and my refuge, H4268 is in God. H430 Trust H982 in him at all times; H6256 ye people, H5971 pour out H8210 your heart H3824 before H6440 him: God H430 is a refuge H4268 for us. Selah. H5542
As for me, I will call H7121 upon God; H430 and the LORD H3068 shall save H3467 me. Evening, H6153 and morning, H1242 and at noon, H6672 will I pray, H7878 and cry aloud: H1993 and he shall hear H8085 my voice. H6963
[[To the chief Musician, H5329 A Psalm H4210 of David.]] H1732 I waited H6960 patiently H6960 for the LORD; H3068 and he inclined H5186 unto me, and heard H8085 my cry. H7775 He brought me up H5927 also out of an horrible H7588 pit, H953 out of the miry H3121 clay, H2916 and set H6965 my feet H7272 upon a rock, H5553 and established H3559 my goings. H838 And he hath put H5414 a new H2319 song H7892 in my mouth, H6310 even praise H8416 unto our God: H430 many H7227 shall see H7200 it, and fear, H3372 and shall trust H982 in the LORD. H3068
They looked H5027 unto him, and were lightened: H5102 and their faces H6440 were not ashamed. H2659 This poor man H6041 cried, H7121 and the LORD H3068 heard H8085 him, and saved H3467 him out of all his troubles. H6869
Deliver H5414 me not over unto the will H5315 of mine enemies: H6862 for false H8267 witnesses H5707 are risen up H6965 against me, and such as breathe out H3307 cruelty. H2555 I had fainted, unless H3884 I had believed H539 to see H7200 the goodness H2898 of the LORD H3068 in the land H776 of the living. H2416 Wait H6960 on the LORD: H3068 be of good courage, H2388 and he shall strengthen H553 thine heart: H3820 wait, H6960 I say, on the LORD. H3068
O ye sons H1121 of men, H376 how long H5704 will ye turn my glory H3519 into shame? H3639 how long will ye love H157 vanity, H7385 and seek H1245 after leasing? H3577 Selah. H5542 But know H3045 that the LORD H3068 hath set apart H6395 him that is godly H2623 for himself: the LORD H3068 will hear H8085 when I call H7121 unto him.

Commentary on Micah 7 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 7
In this chapter,
Mic 7:1-6
This is such a description of bad times as, some think, could scarcely agree to the times of Hezekiah, when this prophet prophesied; and therefore they rather take it as a prediction of what should be in the reign of Manasseh. But we may rather suppose it to be in the reign of Ahaz (and in that reign he prophesied, ch. 1:1) or in the beginning of Hezekiah's time, before the reformation he was instrumental in; nay, in the best of his days, and when he had done his best to purge out corruptions, still there was much amiss. The prophet cries out, Woe is me! He bemoans himself that his lot was cast in such a degenerate age, and thinks it his great unhappiness that he lived among a people that were ripening apace for a ruin which many a good man would unavoidably be involved in. Thus David cries out, Woe is me that I sojourn in Mesech! He laments,
Mic 7:7-13
The prophet, having sadly complained of the wickedness of the times he lived in, here fastens upon some considerations for the comfort of himself and his friends, in reference thereunto. The case is bad, but it is not desperate. Yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
