26 The righteous H6662 is more excellent H8446 than his neighbour: H7453 but the way H1870 of the wicked H7563 seduceth H8582 them.
At the brightness H5051 that was before him his thick clouds H5645 passed, H5674 hail H1259 stones and coals H1513 of fire. H784 The LORD H3068 also thundered H7481 in the heavens, H8064 and the Highest H5945 gave H5414 his voice; H6963 hail H1259 stones and coals H1513 of fire. H784
For G1063 if G1437 ye love G25 them which G3588 love G25 you, G5209 what G5101 reward G3408 have ye? G2192 do G4160 not G3780 even G2532 the publicans G5057 the same? G846 And G2532 if G1437 ye salute G782 your G5216 brethren G80 only, G3440 what G5101 do G4160 ye more G4053 than others? do G4160 not G3780 even G2532 the publicans G5057 so? G3779 Be G2071 ye G5210 therefore G3767 perfect, G5046 even G5618 as your G5216 Father G3962 which G3588 is in G1722 heaven G3772 is G2076 perfect. G5046
For G2532 if G1487 ye love G25 them which love G25 you, G5209 what G4169 thank G5485 have G2076 ye? G5213 for G1063 sinners G268 also G2532 love G25 those that love G25 them. G846 And G2532 if G1437 ye do good G15 to them which do good G15 to you, G5209 what G4169 thank G5485 have G2076 ye? G5213 for G1063 sinners G268 also do G4160 even G2532 the same. G846 And G2532 if G1437 ye lend G1155 to them of G3844 whom G3739 ye hope G1679 G1679 to receive, G618 what G4169 thank G5485 have G2076 ye? G5213 for G1063 sinners G268 also G2532 lend G1155 to sinners, G268 to G2443 receive G618 as much G2470 again. G618 But G4133 love ye G25 your G5216 enemies, G2190 and G2532 do good, G15 and G2532 lend, G1155 hoping G560 for nothing G3367 again; G560 and G2532 your G5216 reward G3408 shall be G2071 great, G4183 and G2532 ye shall be G2071 the children G5207 of the Highest: G5310 for G3754 he G846 is G2076 kind G5543 unto G1909 the unthankful G884 and G2532 to the evil. G4190 Be ye G1096 therefore G3767 merciful, G3629 as G2531 your G5216 Father G3962 also G2532 is G2076 merciful. G3629
Let G3004 no man G3367 say G3004 when he is tempted, G3985 G3754 I am tempted G3985 of G575 God: G2316 for G1063 God G2316 cannot be tempted G551 G2076 with evil, G2556 neither G1161 tempteth G3985 he G846 G3985 any man: G3762 But G1161 every man G1538 is tempted, G3985 when he is drawn away G1828 of G5259 his own G2398 lust, G1939 and G2532 enticed. G1185
Servants, G3610 be subject G5293 to your masters G1203 with G1722 all G3956 fear; G5401 not G3756 only G3440 to the good G18 and G2532 gentle, G1933 but G235 also G2532 to the froward. G4646 For G1063 this G5124 is thankworthy, G5485 if G1487 a man G5100 for G1223 conscience G4893 toward God G2316 endure G5297 grief, G3077 suffering G3958 wrongfully. G95 For G1063 what G4169 glory G2811 is it, if, G1487 when G2532 ye be buffeted G2852 for your faults, G264 ye shall take it patiently? G5278 but G235 if, G1487 when ye do well, G15 and G2532 suffer G3958 for it, ye take it patiently, G5278 this G5124 is acceptable G5485 with G3844 God. G2316 For G1063 even G1519 hereunto G5124 were ye called: G2564 because G3754 Christ G5547 also G2532 suffered G3958 for G5228 us, G2257 leaving G5277 us G2254 an example, G5261 that G2443 ye should follow G1872 his G846 steps: G2487
For G1063 when they speak G5350 great swelling G5246 words of vanity, G3153 they allure G1185 through G1722 the lusts G1939 of the flesh, G4561 through much wantonness, G766 those that were clean G3689 escaped G668 from them who live G390 in G1722 error. G4106 While they promise G1861 them G846 liberty, G1657 they themselves G846 are G5225 the servants G1401 of corruption: G5356 for G1063 of whom G3739 a man G5100 is overcome, G2274 G2532 of the same G5129 is he brought in bondage. G1402 For G1063 if G1487 after they have escaped G668 the pollutions G3393 of the world G2889 through G1722 the knowledge G1922 of the Lord G2962 and G2532 Saviour G4990 Jesus G2424 Christ, G5547 they are G1707 again G3825 entangled G1707 therein, G5125 and G1161 overcome, G1096 G2274 the latter end G2078 is worse G5501 with them G846 than the beginning. G4413 For G1063 it had been G2258 better G2909 for them G846 not G3361 to have known G1921 the way G3598 of righteousness, G1343 than, G2228 after they have known G1921 it, to turn G1994 from G1537 the holy G40 commandment G1785 delivered G3860 unto them. G846 But G1161 it is happened G4819 unto them G846 according to G3588 the true G227 proverb, G3942 The dog G2965 is turned G1994 to G1909 his own G2398 vomit G1829 again; G1994 and G2532 the sow G5300 that was washed G3068 to G1519 her wallowing G2946 in the mire.
