5 Evil H7451 men H582 understand H995 not judgment: H4941 but they that seek H1245 the LORD H3068 understand H995 all things.
A brutish H1198 man H376 knoweth H3045 not; neither doth a fool H3684 understand H995 this.
But G2532 the anointing G5545 which G3739 ye G5210 have received G2983 of G575 him G846 abideth G3306 in G1722 you, G5213 and G2532 ye need G5532 G2192 not G3756 that G2443 any man G5100 teach G1321 you: G5209 but G235 as G5613 the same G846 anointing G5545 teacheth G1321 you G5209 of G4012 all things, G3956 and G2532 is G2076 truth, G227 and G2532 is G2076 no G3756 lie, G5579 and G2532 even as G2531 it hath taught G1321 you, G5209 ye shall abide G3306 in G1722 him. G846
I understand H995 more than the ancients, H2205 because I keep H5341 thy precepts. H6490
For my people H5971 is foolish, H191 they have not known H3045 me; they are sottish H5530 children, H1121 and they have none understanding: H995 they are wise H2450 to do evil, H7489 but to do good H3190 they have no knowledge. H3045
And G1161 when G3753 he was G1096 alone, G2651 they that were about G4012 him G846 with G4862 the twelve G1427 asked G2065 of him G846 the parable. G3850 And G2532 he said G3004 unto them, G846 Unto you G5213 it is given G1325 to know G1097 the mystery G3466 of the kingdom G932 of God: G2316 but G1161 unto them G1565 that are without, G1854 all these things G3956 are done G1096 in G1722 parables: G3850 That G2443 seeing G991 they may see, G991 and G2532 not G3361 perceive; G1492 and G2532 hearing G191 they may hear, G191 and G2532 not G3361 understand; G4920 lest at any time G3379 they should be converted, G1994 and G2532 their sins G265 should be forgiven G863 them. G846 And G2532 he said G3004 unto them, G846 Know ye G1492 not G3756 this G5026 parable? G3850 and G2532 how then G4459 will ye know G1097 all G3956 parables? G3850
But G1161 the natural G5591 man G444 receiveth G1209 not G3756 the things G3588 of the Spirit G4151 of God: G2316 for G1063 they are G2076 foolishness G3472 unto him: G846 neither G2532 G3756 can G1410 he know G1097 them, because G3754 they are spiritually G4153 discerned. G350 But G1161 he that is spiritual G4152 judgeth G3303 G350 all things, G3956 yet G1161 he himself G846 is judged G350 of G5259 no man. G3762

It is written indeed, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people; but if he be a wicked ruler, that oppresses the people, especially the poor people, robbing them of the little they have and making a prey of them, whatever we may call him, this scripture calls him a roaring lion and a ranging bear.
Pro 28:16
Two things are here intimated to be the causes of the mal-administration of princes:-
Pro 28:17
This agrees with that ancient law, Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed (Gen. 9:6), and proclaims,

Here again Solomon shows the sin and folly of those that will be rich; they are resolved that they will be so, per fas, per nefas-right or wrong; they will be so with all speed; they are getting hastily an estate.

As Christ shows the absurdity and wickedness of those children who think it is no duty, in some cases, to maintain their parents (Mt. 15:5), so Solomon here shows the absurdity and wickedness of those who think it is no sin to rob their parents, either by force or secretly, by wheedling them or threatening them, or by wasting what they have, and (which is no better than robbing them) running into debt and leaving them to pay it. Now,
