40 The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons, and sons' sons, one hundred fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, So are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won't be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, In the innermost parts of your house; Your children like olive plants, Around your table. Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Yahweh. May Yahweh bless you out of Zion, And may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. Yes, may you see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel.

1Ch 8:1-32
There is little or nothing of history in all these verses; we have not therefore much to observe.
1Ch 8:33-40

But of the family of Saul, which was the royal family before the elevation of David, we have here a particular account.
