1 Wo `to' those devising iniquity, And working evil on their beds, In the light of the morning they do it, For their hand is -- to God.
For they have drawn near, As an oven `is' their heart, In their lying in wait all the night sleep doth their baker, Morning! he is burning as a flaming fire. All of them are warm as an oven, And they have devoured their judges, All their kings have fallen, There is none calling unto Me among them.
and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they may take him up, for they were afraid of the people. And the Adversary entered into Judas, who is surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve, and he, having gone away, spake with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might deliver him up to them, and they rejoiced, and covenanted to give him money, and he agreed, and was seeking a favourable season to deliver him up to them without tumult.
A man of worthlessness, a man of iniquity, Walking `with' perverseness of mouth, Winking with his eyes, speaking with his feet, Directing with his fingers, Frowardness `is' in his heart, devising evil at all times, Contentions he sendeth forth. Therefore suddenly cometh his calamity, Instantly he is broken -- and no healing. These six hath Jehovah hated, Yea, seven `are' abominations to His soul. Eyes high -- tongues false -- And hands shedding innocent blood -- A heart devising thoughts of vanity -- Feet hasting to run to evil -- A false witness `who' doth breathe out lies -- And one sending forth contentions between brethren.
To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David. Deliver me, O Jehovah, from an evil man, From one of violence Thou keepest me. Who have devised evils in the heart, All the day they assemble `for' wars. They sharpened their tongue as a serpent, Poison of an adder `is' under their lips. Selah. Preserve me, Jehovah, from the hands of the wicked, From one of violence Thou keepest me, Who have devised to overthrow my steps. The proud hid a snare for me -- and cords, They spread a net by the side of the path, Snares they have set for me. Selah. I have said to Jehovah, `My God `art' Thou, Hear, Jehovah, the voice of my supplications.' O Jehovah, my Lord, strength of my salvation, Thou hast covered my head in the day of armour. Grant not, O Jehovah, the desires of the wicked, His wicked device bring not forth, They are high. Selah.
Lo, he travaileth `with' iniquity, And he hath conceived perverseness, And hath brought forth falsehood. A pit he hath prepared, and he diggeth it, And he falleth into a ditch he maketh. Return doth his perverseness on his head, And on his crown his violence cometh down.

Chapter 2
In this chapter we have,
And this is the sum and scope of most of the chapters of this and other prophecies.
Mic 2:1-5
Here is,
Mic 2:6-11
Here are two sins charged upon the people of Israel, and judgments denounced against them for each, such judgments as exactly answer the sin-persecuting God's prophets and oppressing God's poor.
Mic 2:12-13
After threatenings of wrath, the chapter here concludes, as is usual in the prophets, with promises of mercy, which were in part fulfilled when the Jews returned out of Babylon, and had their full accomplishment in the kingdom of the Messiah. Their grievances shall be all redressed.
