1 A Psalm, by David. O Jehovah, I have called Thee, haste to me, Give ear `to' my voice when I call to Thee.
And I `am' poor and needy, O God, haste to me, My help and my deliverer `art' Thou, O Jehovah, tarry Thou not!
Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me, O Jehovah, for my help make haste.
And Thou, O Jehovah, be not far off, O my strength, to help me haste.
And hide not Thy face from Thy servant, For I am in distress -- haste, answer me. Be near unto my soul -- redeem it, Because of mine enemies ransom me.
A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, hear my prayer, Give ear unto my supplications, In Thy faithfulness answer me -- in Thy righteousness.

PSALM 141
Ps 141:1-10. This Psalm evinces its authorship as the preceding, by its structure and the character of its contents. It is a prayer for deliverance from sins to which affliction tempted him, and from the enemies who caused it.
