12 To make known to sons of men His mighty acts, The honour of the majesty of His kingdom.
Give ye thanks to Jehovah -- call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.
A Psalm. Sing ye to Jehovah a new song, For wonders He hath done, Given salvation to Him hath His right hand and His holy arm.
Who doth utter the mighty acts of Jehovah? Soundeth all His praise?
The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people `are' free-will gifts in the day of Thy strength, in the honours of holiness, From the womb, from the morning, Thou hast the dew of thy youth.
To Him doing great wonders by Himself alone, For to the age `is' His kindness. To Him making the heavens by understanding, For to the age `is' His kindness. To Him spreading the earth over the waters, For to the age `is' His kindness. To Him making great lights, For to the age `is' His kindness. The sun to rule by day, For to the age `is' His kindness. The moon and stars to rule by night, For to the age `is' His kindness. To Him smiting Egypt in their first-born, For to the age `is' His kindness. And bringing forth Israel from their midst, For to the age `is' His kindness. By a strong hand, and a stretched-out-arm, For to the age `is' His kindness. To Him cutting the sea of Suph into parts, For to the age `is' His kindness, And caused Israel to pass through its midst, For to the age `is' His kindness, And shook out Pharaoh and his force in the sea of Suph, For to the age `is' His kindness. To Him leading His people in a wilderness, For to the age `is' His kindness. To Him smiting great kings, For to the age `is' His kindness. Yea, He doth slay honourable kings, For to the age `is' His kindness. Even Sihon king of the Amorite, For to the age `is' His kindness. And Og king of Bashan, For to the age `is' His kindness. And He gave their land for inheritance, For to the age `is' His kindness. An inheritance to Israel His servant, For to the age `is' His kindness. Who in our lowliness hath remembered us, For to the age `is' His kindness. And He delivereth us from our adversaries, For to the age `is' His kindness. Giving food to all flesh, For to the age `is' His kindness. Give ye thanks to the God of the heavens, For to the age `is' His kindness!
And the strength of Thy fearful acts they tell, And Thy greatness I recount. The memorial of the abundance of Thy goodness they send forth. And Thy righteousness they sing. Gracious and merciful `is' Jehovah, Slow to anger, and great in kindness. Good `is' Jehovah to all, And His mercies `are' over all His works. Confess Thee O Jehovah, do all Thy works, And Thy saints do bless Thee. The honour of Thy kingdom they tell, And `of' Thy might they speak, To make known to sons of men His mighty acts, The honour of the majesty of His kingdom.
`And at the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, mine eyes to the heavens have lifted up, and mine understanding unto me returneth, and the Most High I have blessed, and the Age-during Living One I have praised and honoured, whose dominion `is' a dominion age-during, and His kingdom with generation and generation; and all who are dwelling on the earth as nothing are reckoned, and according to his will He is doing among the forces of the heavens and those dwelling on the earth, and there is none that doth clap with his hand, and saith to Him, What hast Thou done?
and how do we hear, each in our proper dialect, in which we were born? Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and those dwelling in Mesopotamia, in Judea also, and Cappadocia, Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia also, and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya, that `are' along Cyrene, and the strangers of Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we did hear them speaking in our tongues the great things of God.'
and what the exceeding greatness of His power to us who are believing, according to the working of the power of His might, which He wrought in the Christ, having raised him out of the dead, and did set `him' at His right hand in the heavenly `places', far above all principality, and authority, and might, and lordship, and every name named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one;
of which I became a ministrant, according to the gift of the grace of God that was given to me, according to the working of His power; to me -- the less than the least of all the saints -- was given this grace, among the nations to proclaim good news -- the untraceable riches of the Christ,
And I heard a great voice saying in the heaven, `Now did come the salvation, and the power, and the reign, of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because cast down was the accuser of our brethren, who is accusing them before our God day and night;
and out of his mouth doth proceed a sharp sword, that with it he may smite the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and he doth tread the press of the wine of the wrath and the anger of God the Almighty, and he hath upon the garment and upon his thigh the name written, `King of kings, and Lord of lords.'

PSALM 145
Ps 145:1-21. A Psalm of praise to God for His mighty, righteous, and gracious government of all men, and of His humble and suffering people in particular.
1, 2. (Compare Ps 30:1).
bless thy name—celebrate Thy perfections (Ps 5:11). God is addressed as king, alluding to His government of men.
3. (Compare Ps 18:3; 48:1).
greatness—as displayed in His works.
4. shall declare—literally, "they shall declare," that is, all generations.
5. I will speak—or, "muse" (Ps 77:12; 119:15).
thy wondrous works—or, "words of thy wonders," that is, which described them (Ps 105:27, Margin).
6. terrible acts—which produce dread or fear.
7. memory—(Ps 6:5), remembrance, or what causes to be remembered.
righteousness—as in Ps 143:1, goodness according to covenant engagement.
8, 9. (Compare Ps 103:8; 111:4).
over all, &c.—rests on all His works.
10. bless—as in Ps 145:1, to praise with reverence, more than merely to praise.
11, 12. The declaration of God's glory is for the extension of His knowledge and perfections in the world.
13. (Compare Da 4:3, 34).
14. (Compare Ps 37:17; 54:4).
15, 16. eyes of … thee—or, look with expecting faith (Ps 104:27, 28).
17. holy … works—literally, "merciful" or "kind, goodness" (Ps 144:2) is the corresponding noun.
righteous—in a similar relation of meaning to "righteousness" (Ps 145:7).
18, 19. (Compare Ps 34:7, 10).
20. Those who fear Him (Ps 145:19) are those who are here said to love Him.
21. (Compare Ps 33:21).
all flesh—(Ps 65:2). The Psalm ends, as it began, with ascriptions of praise, in which the pious will ever delight to join.
