Luke 8:27 - And when he G846 went forth to land, there met him G846 out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
Luke 8:28 - When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, G846 and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
Luke 8:29 - (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: G846 and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
Luke 8:30 - And Jesus asked him, G846 saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. G846
Luke 8:31 - And they besought him G846 that he would not command them G846 to go out into the deep.
Luke 8:32 - And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him G846 that he would suffer them G846 to enter into them. And he suffered them. G846
Luke 8:36 - They also which saw it told them G846 by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.
Luke 8:37 - Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him G846 to depart from them; G846 for they were taken with great fear: and he G846 went up into the ship, and returned back again.
Luke 8:38 - Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him G846 that he might be with him: G846 but Jesus sent him G846 away, saying,
Luke 8:39 - Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him. G846
Luke 8:40 - And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: G846 for they were all waiting for him. G846
Luke 8:41 - And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he G846 was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him G846 that he would come into his G846 house:
Luke 8:42 - For he G846 had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she G846 lay a dying. But as he G846 went the people thronged him. G846
Luke 8:44 - Came behind him, and touched the border of his G846 garment: and immediately her G846 issue of blood stanched.
Luke 8:45 - And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him G846 said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
Luke 8:47 - And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, G846 she declared unto him G846 before all the people for what cause she had touched him, G846 and how she was healed immediately.
Luke 8:48 - And he said unto her, G846 Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
Luke 8:49 - While he G846 yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, G846 Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
Luke 8:50 - But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, G846 saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
Luke 8:52 - And all wept, and bewailed her: G846 but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
Luke 8:53 - And they laughed him G846 to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
Luke 8:54 - And he G846 put them all out, and took her G846 by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
Luke 8:55 - And her G846 spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her G846 meat.
Luke 8:56 - And her G846 parents were astonished: but he charged them G846 that they should tell no man what was done.
Luke 9:1 - Then he called his G846 twelve disciples together, and gave them G846 power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
Luke 9:2 - And he sent them G846 to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
Luke 9:3 - And he said unto them, G846 Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
Luke 9:5 - And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. G846
Luke 9:7 - Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: G846 and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;
Luke 9:9 - And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him. G846
Luke 9:10 - And the apostles, when they were returned, told him G846 all that they had done. And he took them, G846 and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.
Luke 9:11 - And the people, when they knew it, followed him: G846 and he received them, G846 and spake unto them G846 of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.
Luke 9:12 - And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, G846 Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.
Luke 9:13 - But he said unto them, G846 Give ye them G846 to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people.
Luke 9:14 - For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his G846 disciples, Make them G846 sit down by fifties in a company.
Luke 9:15 - And they did so, and made them all sit down.
Luke 9:16 - Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, G846 and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.
Luke 9:17 - And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them G846 twelve baskets.
Luke 9:18 - And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his G846 disciples were with him: G846 and he asked them, G846 saying, Whom say the people that I am?
Luke 9:20 - He said unto them, G846 But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.
Luke 9:21 - And he straitly charged them, G846 and commanded them to tell no man that thing;
Luke 9:24 - For whosoever will save his G846 life shall lose it: G846 but whosoever will lose his G846 life for my sake, the same shall save it. G846
Luke 9:29 - And as he G846 prayed, the fashion of his G846 countenance was altered, and his G846 raiment was white and glistering.
Luke 9:30 - And, behold, there talked with him G846 two men, which were Moses and Elias:
Luke 9:31 - Who appeared in glory, and spake of his G846 decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
Luke 9:32 - But Peter and they that were with him G846 were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his G846 glory, and the two men that stood with him. G846
Luke 9:33 - And it came to pass, as they G846 departed from him, G846 Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.
Luke 9:34 - While he G846 thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: G846 and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
Luke 9:35 - And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. G846
Luke 9:36 - And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they G846 kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.
