Nehemiah 4:19 - And I said H559 unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another.
Nehemiah 4:22 - Likewise at the same time said H559 I unto the people, Let every one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and labour on the day.
Nehemiah 5:2 - For there were that said, H559 We, our sons, and our daughters, are many: therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat, and live.
Nehemiah 5:3 - Some also there were that said, H559 We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth.
Nehemiah 5:4 - There were also that said, H559 We have borrowed money for the king's tribute, and that upon our lands and vineyards.
Nehemiah 5:7 - Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said H559 unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them.
Nehemiah 5:8 - And I said H559 unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing to answer.
Nehemiah 5:9 - Also I said, H559 It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
Nehemiah 5:12 - Then said H559 they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. H559 Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.
Nehemiah 5:13 - Also I shook my lap, and said, H559 So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, H559 Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.
Nehemiah 6:2 - That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, H559 Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
Nehemiah 6:3 - And I sent messengers unto them, saying, H559 I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?
Nehemiah 6:6 - Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith H559 it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words.
Nehemiah 6:7 - And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, H559 There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together.
Nehemiah 6:8 - Then I sent unto him, saying, H559 There are no such things done as thou sayest, H559 but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
Nehemiah 6:9 - For they all made us afraid, saying, H559 Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.
Nehemiah 6:10 - Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, H559 Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.
Nehemiah 6:11 - And I said, H559 Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
Nehemiah 6:19 - Also they reported H559 his good deeds before me, and uttered my words to him. And Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.
Nehemiah 7:3 - And I said H559 unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one to be over against his house.
Nehemiah 7:65 - And the Tirshatha said H559 unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
Nehemiah 8:1 - And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake H559 unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.
Nehemiah 8:9 - And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said H559 unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
Nehemiah 8:10 - Then he said H559 unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:11 - So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, H559 Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.
Nehemiah 8:15 - And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, H559 Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.
Nehemiah 9:5 - Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, H559 Stand up and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.
Nehemiah 9:15 - And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst H559 them that they should go in to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.
Nehemiah 9:18 - Yea, when they had made them a molten calf, and said, H559 This is thy God that brought thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;
Nehemiah 9:23 - Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised H559 to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it.
Nehemiah 13:9 - Then I commanded, H559 and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the meat offering and the frankincense.
Nehemiah 13:11 - Then contended I with the rulers, and said, H559 Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place.
Nehemiah 13:17 - Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said H559 unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
Nehemiah 13:19 - And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded H559 that the gates should be shut, and charged H559 that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.
Nehemiah 13:21 - Then I testified against them, and said H559 unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.
Nehemiah 13:22 - And I commanded H559 the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.
Esther 1:10 - On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded H559 Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,

Esther 1:17 - For this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, H559 The king Ahasuerus commanded H559 Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.
Esther 1:18 - Likewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say H559 this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.
Esther 2:2 - Then said H559 the king's servants that ministered unto him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king:
Esther 2:13 - Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired H559 was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.
Esther 2:15 - Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. H559 And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.
Esther 2:22 - And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified H559 the king thereof in Mordecai's name.
Esther 3:3 - Then the king's servants, which were in the king's gate, said H559 unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king's commandment?
Esther 3:4 - Now it came to pass, when they spake H559 daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
Esther 3:8 - And Haman said H559 unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them.
Esther 3:11 - And the king said H559 unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.
Esther 4:7 - And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and of the sum of the money that Haman had promised H559 to pay to the king's treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them.
