1 [[A Song H7892 or Psalm H4210 of David.]] H1732 O God, H430 my heart H3820 is fixed; H3559 I will sing H7891 and give praise, H2167 even with my glory. H3519
My heart H3820 is fixed, H3559 O God, H430 my heart H3820 is fixed: H3559 I will sing H7891 and give praise. H2167 Awake up, H5782 my glory; H3519 awake, H5782 psaltery H5035 and harp: H3658 I myself will awake H5782 early. H7837 I will praise H3034 thee, O Lord, H136 among the people: H5971 I will sing H2167 unto thee among the nations. H3816 For thy mercy H2617 is great H1419 unto the heavens, H8064 and thy truth H571 unto the clouds. H7834 Be thou exalted, H7311 O God, H430 above the heavens: H8064 let thy glory H3519 be above all the earth. H776
Then sang H7891 Moses H4872 and the children H1121 of Israel H3478 this song H7892 unto the LORD, H3068 and spake, H559 saying, H559 I will sing H7891 unto the LORD, H3068 for he hath triumphed H1342 gloriously: H1342 the horse H5483 and his rider H7392 hath he thrown H7411 into the sea. H3220
[[A Psalm of David, H1732 when he changed H8138 his behaviour H2940 before H6440 Abimelech; H40 who drove him away, H1644 and he departed.]] H3212 I will bless H1288 the LORD H3068 at all times: H6256 his praise H8416 shall continually H8548 be in my mouth. H6310
My mouth H6310 shall shew forth H5608 thy righteousness H6666 and thy salvation H8668 all the day; H3117 for I know H3045 not the numbers H5615 thereof.
My lips H8193 shall greatly rejoice H7442 when I sing H2167 unto thee; and my soul, H5315 which thou hast redeemed. H6299 My tongue H3956 also shall talk H1897 of thy righteousness H6666 all the day H3117 long: for they are confounded, H954 for they are brought unto shame, H2659 that seek H1245 my hurt. H7451
[[A Psalm of David.]] H1732 I will praise H3034 thee with my whole heart: H3820 before the gods H430 will I sing praise H2167 unto thee.

INTRODUCTION TO Psalm 108
A Song cf15I or Psalm of David. This psalm consists of several passages out of the fifty seventh and sixtieth psalms, with very little variation. Jarchi and Kimchi refer it to the times of the Messiah. The title in the Syriac version is,
"concerning the calling of the Gentiles,'
to which, no doubt, it has respect.
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise,.... From hence to Psalm 108:6 the words are taken out of Psalm 57:7, which see.
Even with my glory; my tongue; in Psalm 57:8, it is read, "awake up my glory". See Gill on Psalm 57:7,
For thy mercy is great above the heavens,..... It is in Psalm 57:10, "thy mercy is great unto the heavens". See Gill on Psalm 57:10.
That thy beloved may be delivered,.... From hence to the end of the psalm the words are taken out of Psalm 60:5. See Gill on Psalm 60:5.
Over Philistia will I triumph,.... In Psalm 60:8, it is, "Philistia, triumph thou because of me"; See Gill on Psalm 60:8.
And wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?.... In Psalm 60:10, it is, "and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies". See Gill on Psalm 60:10.
