13 it happened, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking Yahweh; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised Yahweh, [saying], For he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever; that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of Yahweh,
Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. They sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, And to open its seals: For you were killed, And bought us for God with your blood, Out of every tribe, language, people, and nation, And made them kings and priests to our God, And they reign on earth." I saw, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands; saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!" I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen!{TR omits "Amen!"}" The four living creatures said, "Amen!" The {TR adds "twenty-four"}elders fell down and worshiped.{TR adds "the one living forever and ever"}
Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of Yahweh filled the tent. Moses wasn't able to enter into the tent of meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh's glory filled the tent.
Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good; For his loving kindness endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods; For his loving kindness endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords; For his loving kindness endures forever: To him who alone does great wonders; For his loving kindness endures forever: To him who by understanding made the heavens; For his loving kindness endures forever: To him who spread out the earth above the waters; For his loving kindness endures forever: To him who made the great lights; For his loving kindness endures forever: The sun to rule by day; For his loving kindness endures forever; The moon and stars to rule by night; For his loving kindness endures forever: To him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn; For his loving kindness endures forever; And brought out Israel from among them; For his loving kindness endures forever; With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; For his loving kindness endures forever: To him who divided the Red Sea apart; For his loving kindness endures forever; And made Israel to pass through the midst of it; For his loving kindness endures forever; But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea; For his loving kindness endures forever: To him who led his people through the wilderness; For his loving kindness endures forever: To him who struck great kings; For his loving kindness endures forever; And killed mighty kings; For his loving kindness endures forever: Sihon king of the Amorites; For his loving kindness endures forever; Og king of Bashan; For his loving kindness endures forever; And gave their land as an inheritance; For his loving kindness endures forever; Even a heritage to Israel his servant; For his loving kindness endures forever: Who remembered us in our low estate; For his loving kindness endures forever; And has delivered us from our adversaries; For his loving kindness endures forever: Who gives food to every creature; For his loving kindness endures forever. Oh give thanks to the God of heaven; For his loving kindness endures forever.
> Shout for joy to Yahweh, all you lands! Serve Yahweh with gladness. Come before his presence with singing.
Oh come, let's sing to Yahweh. Let's shout aloud to the rock of our salvation! Let's come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let's extol him with songs!
Oh give thanks to Yahweh; for he is good; For his loving kindness endures forever. Say you, Save us, God of our salvation, Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to your holy name, To triumph in your praise. Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, Amen, and praised Yahweh. So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required; and Obed-edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers; and Zadok the priest, and his brothers the priests, before the tent of Yahweh in the high place that was at Gibeon, to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded to Israel; and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his loving kindness endures forever; and with them Heman and Jeduthun [with] trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and [with] instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
It came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of Yahweh, so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the glory of Yahweh filled the house of Yahweh. Then spoke Solomon, Yahweh has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Commentary on 2 Chronicles 5 Matthew Henry Commentary
Chapter 5
The temple being built and furnished for God, we have here,
2Ch 5:1-10
This agrees with what we had 1 Ki. 8:2, etc., where an account was given of the solemn introduction of the ark into the new-erected temple.
2Ch 5:11-14
Solomon, and the elders of Israel, had done what they could to grace the solemnity of the introduction of the ark; but God, by testifying his acceptance of what they did, put the greatest honour upon it. The cloud of glory that filled the house beautified it more than all the gold with which it was overlaid or the precious stones with which it was garnished; and yet that was no glory in comparison with the glory of the gospel dispensation, 2 Co. 3:8-10. Observe,
