Nehemiah 2:18 - Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words H1697 that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
Nehemiah 2:19 - But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing H1697 that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
Nehemiah 5:6 - And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words. H1697
Nehemiah 5:8 - And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing H1697 to answer.
Nehemiah 5:9 - Also I said, It is not good that H1697 ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
Nehemiah 5:12 - Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise. H1697
Nehemiah 5:13 - Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, H1697 even thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise. H1697
Nehemiah 6:4 - Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; H1697 and I answered them after the same manner. H1697
Nehemiah 6:5 - Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner H1697 the fifth time with an open letter in his hand;
Nehemiah 6:6 - Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words. H1697
Nehemiah 6:7 - And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. H1697 Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together.
Nehemiah 6:8 - Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things H1697 done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
Nehemiah 6:19 - Also they reported his good deeds before me, and uttered my words H1697 to him. And Tobiah sent letters to put me in fear.
Nehemiah 8:4 - And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; H1697 and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
Nehemiah 8:9 - And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words H1697 of the law.
Nehemiah 8:12 - And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words H1697 that were declared unto them.
Nehemiah 8:13 - And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words H1697 of the law.

Esther 1:19 - If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment H1697 from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
Esther 1:21 - And the saying H1697 pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word H1697 of Memucan:
Esther 2:1 - After these things, H1697 when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
Esther 2:4 - And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing H1697 pleased the king; and he did so.
Esther 2:8 - So it came to pass, when the king's commandment H1697 and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
Esther 2:15 - Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing H1697 but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.
Esther 2:22 - And the thing H1697 was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai's name.
Esther 2:23 - And when inquisition was made of the matter, H1697 it was found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was written in the book of the chronicles H1697 before the king.
Esther 3:1 - After these things H1697 did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him.
Esther 3:4 - Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters H1697 would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
Esther 3:15 - The posts went out, being hastened by the king's commandment, H1697 and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.
Esther 4:3 - And in every province, whithersoever the king's commandment H1697 and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
Esther 4:9 - And Hatach came and told Esther the words H1697 of Mordecai.
Esther 4:12 - And they told to Mordecai Esther's words. H1697
Esther 5:5 - Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. H1697 So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
Esther 5:8 - If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said. H1697
Esther 5:14 - Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing H1697 pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
Esther 6:1 - On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; H1697 and they were read before the king.
Esther 6:3 - And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing H1697 done for him.
Esther 6:10 - Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's gate: let nothing H1697 fail of all that thou hast spoken.
Esther 7:8 - Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word H1697 went out of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.
Esther 8:5 - And said, If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing H1697 seem right before the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are in all the king's provinces:
Esther 8:14 - So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king's commandment. H1697 And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.
